MOVEMENT STANDARDS

RX/MASTERS

Bar Facing Burpees:

Synchronization occurs when both athletes chest are on the floor simultaneously
• Chest and thighs contact ground
• Both athletes must be perpendicular to the barbell
• Athletes may step back/up in all divisions
• Two foot takeoff and landing over barbell
• Athletes may not touch the barbell while jumping/stepping over
• In the event an athlete does contact the bar, the jump/step portion must be completed
  successfully by both athletes prior to returning to burpees

Snatch:
• Must be one continuous movement from ground to overhead
• Hang is not acceptable
• Bar may not contact the shoulder
• May be performed as squat, power or split snatch
• Must show control overhead with feet under hips
• Athletes may not step on the lane lines or outside of the lane during an attempt-this will      result in a no rep for that lift


Clean & Jerk:
• Must contact the shoulder prior to going over head
• Hang is not acceptable
• May be performed as squat, power or split clean/jerk
• Must show control overhead with feet under hips
• Athletes may not step on the lane lines or outside of the lane during an attempt-this will      result in a no rep for that lift.
